Depart via a deluxe motor coach to visit the famed Mission at San Juan Capistrano, noted as being one of the most impressive examples of early California architecture. Also, home of the annual return of the swallows. The mission was founded November 1, 1776 by Father Junipero Serra and is the only building still standing in which Serra is known to have conducted Mass. Gardens, Arches and Moorish fountains grace the grounds. A self guided tour features artifacts, work buildings, the padre's living quarters, the soldier's barracks, and American Indian cemetery and a kitchen. Then continue along the scenic California coastline and travel the route of the Dons to the picturesque city of Laguna Beach and enjoy a leisurely time with its art studios and quaint sidewalk cafes. Lunch is optional. Minimums apply.
